These days, many people are taking up doing part time online jobs from home. Would a work from home job be right for you, thought? Well, to know that, you first have to understand some of the ins and outs of online jobs.
First of all, the online job market is very competitive. There are a lot of people that may have more experience than you in certain fields. That doesn't mean that you should give up, though. It just means that you need to use certain skills that you do have to get a foot in the door.
One of the secrets to getting these types of jobs is to simply think before you type. You see, most communication is done through e-mails or Instant Messaging services. Why Is So Important To Find mentors?

Did you ever learn to walk by your self? I don’t thing you did, you mother was there from the beginning to make you strong, gave you the right foods, the proper care, and watched you while you were trying your first steps.
Why do you need a mentor?
One of the most important things in life is to team up with a mentor; a mentor can provide a safe secure way to get to the point you’re going, help you avoid all the mistakes and traps that are at the roads. Not only that but also because in every step you take you might have questions, and the only one that has gone through that is your mentor.
Not all the rich people in the world were born rich; but to make things easy and to get ahead they all found mentors to guide them, for everything.
Where do you find a mentor?
Make a list of all the people you know
You can find mentors on friends that know the trade you want to learn.
At church, yes church is a place where you can find different kind of mentors; they can be attorneys, financers, advisors, etc.
The Cash Now Challenge is a place to get trained on online business if that is something of your interest.
What I am going to need when I find a mentor?
Fist of all, you must know that a mentor is a pretty busy person, they all walk with a schedule, call that person and make an appointment with him or her, you must ask this person if he or she has some time to go over some questions you might have over a per say coffee, lunch, dinner?, Yes they eat too, and if you don’t have the means to pay an expensive training you at least can compensate him or her with a lunch for his or her time. After all you are the one that needs the advice.
Second of all you must make a list of all the things you wish to ask to this mentor before you meet him or her, and the questions better be your business related and pick his or her brain, and don’t take too much of his or her time.
Make sure you have something to write or a recorder for the conversation.
Call that person one day before to make sure still going to meet him or her at the place you agree on. Some times things happen and they or you could be busy that day. It’s only courtesy to do that and for your benefit.
After that meeting send your mentor a thank you note for his or her time.
What if this mentor says no to my meeting?
Go to your next person on your list and contact him or her. Repeat the process

Do you currently own a home based business that pays the bills but doesn't give you the income that you really want to make? You have to ask yourself, "Is there bigger chunks of cash out there to aim for with my business and where are they located?"
When you think about it, it really doesn't take any more effort (and sometimes less) to go after the larger chunks of cash as it does to go after all those smaller ones (the larger cash chunks that could help you meet your monthly profit goals faster and easier). And you know what they say, "It is always less crowded at the top".
It is the same principle in all sales. Let's say your target for profits this month is $5,000. How many sales do you need to reach this goal? You either need to focus on getting just one $5,000 sale or getting five $1,000 sales. Or maybe ten $500 sales, or twenty $250 sales to reach your financial goal this month.
Again, if your business will allow you to score that one big $5,000 or five $1,000 sales you can reach your goal for this month that much faster and easier if that is what you hunt for. And hey, what if you overshot your monthly goal and made $7,500 or more? Running with a product or service that offers you larger commissions means you want to aim for the right prospects (where the real money is at).
Again, maybe you have a service or product that you could be charging more for. Maybe you could even find a way to add to or improve that product or service so you could elevate its true value and then raise the price up accordingly. With the right product or service it is just a matter of aiming at bigger projects and or prospects that have deeper pockets.
I have heard it said that in this new economy the gap between the rich and the poor is wider now and possibly widening more. Since the middle class is swaggering and usually doesn't have all that much money to spend anyway, why not aim for the higher profits and the better prospects or bigger accounts where something like $1,000, $5,000 and more is not a major buying decision?
A good example of this is in the service realm. Most homeowners cannot afford a professional custom paint job for their homes but the higher income people can and do. And commercial accounts can be even better.
The higher income homeowners usually have all kinds of professional services going on in their homes and in their neighborhoods. Things like carpenters, electricians, painters, landscapers, window washers, maids, etc.
If you are looking for ways to earn more, maybe you need a product that will yield the highest possible profits. If you have a product or service that can put $500 - $1,000 profits per day in your pocket, you have a REAL business.
Sometimes you need to leverage your efforts to make this kind of money, but not always. Again, if you have the right product or service to offer companies or homeowners, you will need fewer sales per month to make your monthly quota in profits.
If I have to be told "NO" from somebody they better darn well be worth it. Not a rejection from just any poor schmuck. Plus, I would rather be told "NO" fewer times per month wouldn't you?
On the other hand, having a product or service that more people at all income levels can afford can be good as well. The old saying "sell to the masses and live with the classes" still holds true today. It all depends on your own personal sales goals.
A truly unique product or service then would be one that you can offer to anyone at any income level. Or one that you can offer a less expensive version of as well. It is up to you to decide whether it is better to focus on more frequent sales or larger sales.

Are You Setting A Plan With Your Goals?

Setting foals is the most important thing to do with anything you do. But when a PLAN is not developed FAILURE happens. In order to reach a goal a PLAN must be made on how to reach it.
The first thing you need to do is ask yourself WHY? WHY do I want this goal? How would this goal change my life? What am I willing to give up to achieve this goal?

Let me tell you a story, I attend a meet-up group in Brooklyn NY with my business partner. We created this meet-up group for two reasons. (1) To gather all Home Based Business Owners together to learn and to share ideas to market and build their business. (2) To find out how many other reps are in the surrounding areas of our primary opportunity. After a couple of weeks my business partner spoke to her team leader about our meet-up group. Before you know it, the next meet-up two people showed up. They were reps of our primary opportunity and decided to attend. My business partner and I thought we were the only one in town involved in this opportunity.

But when you use them as an excuse to achieve your goal you will FAIL! That lady thought I was NUTS when I told her the amount of work and hours I put into my business every week. Now, how can she really achieve $40,000 per month in her primary business if she doesn't have a PLAN and have a boat load of excuses.
I'm not discouraging anyone not to set a goal no matter how large it is, but set a realistic one. As a baby we start to crawl, sit up, stand, walk then RUN. When do we ever RUN before we learn how to crawl? NEVER! That's what that lady was saying to me.
