We all want to own our own business... you know, be your own boss, but do you really understand what is involved. The Internet likes to charm you with ideas of instant success and $132,059 in under 2 hours!
Well that's just great but I can tell you a lot of what you read is fabricated or inflated to get you to buy something. Shocking I know, but hey it's marketing.
Many of us in the early stages of our Internet businesses are attracted to all the shiny new "toys" available, increasing our chances of failure. I know in my early years I was distracted constantly and felt like I was on a rollercoaster.
By internalizing these fundamental concepts, when it comes time to build a booming internet business, you'll have a clear focus, you'll no longer become distracted, and you will begin to see results faster than you have in the previous months combined. So let's jump right in...
Burning Desires
Napoleon Hill described it best. He called his "why" his burning desire, something that propels your forward, a driving force towards success. This can be anything you want it to be, if it gets you up in the morning it qualifies.
Now I do want to make a recommendation, don't let money be your driving force. You will find out very quickly the love of money will cause a chain reaction in your business that will cause it to implode on itself.
Focus on something bigger than yourself. My burning desire is to create a legacy by giving business owners the tools and strategies to do great things worldwide. Spend some time thinking about your driving force.
Bullet-Proof Plan
This one is where most people get stuck. They have big dreams and know what they want but they seem to forget you need a system to run your business on. When building an Internet business to be your own boss you can't trust everything online. Spend some time educating yourself on how to market and sell your products.

Action Attack
Once you've found a system that works for you its time to attack the Internet head on by taking immediate action. You need to hustle and work daily on your business. Most "gurus" are going to tell it you can make money in X days... well yes you can, once you've built a list of several thousand.
Don't be fooled by what you read online, success comes with action regardless of what industry you're in, and what vehicle you use to get you there. Stop being lazy and GET TO WORK!
Unfortunately most people are going to skip to the bottom to see if there's so quick and easy way to do this. But until you realize that building a business is work you can't be your own boss.
Now that you have the tools it's time to start implementing them.
